Advanced 2.3-litre EcoBoost Engine Technology
The 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine’s revolutionary technology incorporates direct fuel injection, twin independent variable camshaft timing and a twin-scroll turbocharger. Tuned and calibrated specifically for the New Focus RS, the result is: maximum power of 350 PS and maximum torque of 440 Nm (470 Nm over-boost). Excellent low-end responsiveness is matched by powerful mid-range pull. And the free-revving top-end is set to a maximum limit of 6,800 rpm.
Serious Stopping Power
Equipped with 350mm ventilated front discs and aluminium, Brembo four-piston monoblock calipers, the New Focus RS incorporates the most powerful braking system ever fitted to an RS model. Clever design maximises brake cooling helping to avoid fade, even under heavy track use. And the front discs also feature ventilation fins for enhanced cooling.
Maximum Cornering Control
Ford Performance all-wheel-drive (AWD) with Dynamic Torque Vectoring Control delivers over 1 g of lateral acceleration, plus exceptional grip and ultra-precise handling when you’re powering through corners. The system employs twin electronically controlled clutch packs to help balance engine torque between the rear wheels to suit the road surface and driving conditions. And this intelligent technology also enables you to enjoy controlled oversteer drifts on track days.
Four Modes To Suit Any Situation
In a New Focus RS, you’ve got complete control over the way the car drives and handles: on the road or on a circuit. At the flick of a switch, you can change between Normal, Sport or Track settings. Each mode adjusts the AWD system, damper controls, Electronic Stability Control and ABS systems, steering and engine responses, and even the engine sound. On circuits you can select Drift Mode where the torque distribution also helps you achieve controlled oversteer drifts.
The advanced, race-inspired, stiffened ‘Öhlins Tenneco’ suspension helps you keep the New Focus RS under tight supervision at all times. It improves road holding and control, helping you feel connected to the road and experience outstanding, highly responsive steering feedback. For track driving, two-mode switchable dampers offer an even firmer setting so you can enjoy the full-throttle thrill of your course.

There are the Standard 19" inch 20-spoke RS Design which are available in three different colours.
