Ford have been working effectively towards the goal of the majority of sold Ford cars to be electric by 2022. They have been encouraging the electrification of cars to become a mainstream trend and get people on board with these innovative and environmental changes.
Ford have already launched a few electric variants, such as the Ford Kuga ST-Line Plug-in Hybrid and the Ford Puma ST-Line SUV Hybrid. They intend to expand this launch by another 9 vehicles by ‘2024’ in Europe, including the reveal of the new electric Mustang sports utility vehicle next year.
Not only are they revealing these exciting new vehicles, they plan a partnership with 6 energy suppliers within Europe to install at home charging points as well as provide green tariffs to allow faster charging at a more affordable rate. Fantastic news, not only for the environment but for your pocket too!
In addition Ford has declared these will be the changes to come and we at Hartwell applaud their work and look forward to seeing their new electric models in our showrooms very soon.
