FIAT PANDA CROSS NAMED BEST CROSSOVER IN 4X4 MAGAZINE AWARDS 2019

FIAT PANDA CROSS NAMED BEST CROSSOVER IN 4X4 MAGAZINE AWARDS 2019

The Fiat Panda Cross has won a Best Crossover award for the second year running. Judges for 4x4 Magazine were impressed once again by the Panda Cross’ ability to venture far off-road, and it beat tough competition to reach the top spot.

The Panda was also praised for its ‘rorty’ 0.9-litre TwinAir engine, its surprising ability to find traction and the amount of fun it provides on even the shortest journeys. Apparently it never failed to put a smile on the judges’ faces!

"The Fiat Panda Cross is an immensely capable car and this is something that its loyal owners have always known and appreciated," said Fiat’s UK marketing director. "With a panel of 4x4 experts agreeing that point too, it makes this win for the Panda even more significant.”

Not that this small crossover needed any reassurance. Showing how tough and resilient it is, the Panda Cross was the first-ever car to drive to the base camp on Mount Everest. A true pioneer, it was also the first city car available with grippy four-wheel-drive. Head to rural Italy and you’ll see ancient Panda 4x4 models still traversing the terrain like mountain goats.
