The motoring magazine has exclusive images of the super-hatch and are based on the recently face lifted model. Engine wise, the RS is rumoured to have the 2.3 litre four-cylinder EcoBoost turbo unit that’s been developed for the latest Mustang only with a front wheel-drive layout.
Auto Express goes on to say: “If it does get the green light it should appear towards the end of the car’s lifecycle. As the Focus is due for replacement in 2017, it’s looking like 2016 before the production model arrives.”
