Hartwell are a leading multi-franchise retail motor group in the UK and have been trading successfully for 100 years. Operating 12 franchised dealerships across 10 locations, the company currently represents brands including Ford and Fiat.

Due to continuing growth, we are now seeking a Warranty Administrator to join the team at or our Hemel Hempstead dealership.


  • To process all warranty claims to manufacturers, deal with any related issues regarding the claim, accept payments.
  • Assist in many other areas of the service department.
  • Retain relationships with Ford.
  • Understand/retain information of new warranty work/recalls which will be affecting the warranty work from others.

Joining our team as a Warranty Administrator your main duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Warranty, general workshop day to day duties within the Service Department including customer facing issues and taking customer enquiries.
  • Main requirement warranty control.
  • Remaining a strong relationship with the manufacturers.
  • To achieve full customer satisfaction.
  • Carry out pre and follow up calls to ensure transparent communication to all warranty customers.
  • Maintain contact with customers through the customer journey.
  • Any invoicing and admin required.
  • To obtain a full working understanding of Service and the EVHC system.
  • Dealing with customer enquiries in person and on the phone.
  • Communicate with Technicians to ensure work is completed in a timely manner.
  • Inputting correct information on the 1Link Platform.
  • On-boarding with new starters to ensure they are up to speed and in a comfortable working environment.
  • Liaise with customers to ensure the agreed timeframe has been met, keeping them updated.

The ideal Warranty Administrator will:

  • Control all aspects of warranty to assist within the Service Department on various functions.
  • Achieve 100% warranty processing.
  • Assist the Service Department when required.
  • Maintain the targets set for the Service Department.
  • Preferably have Ford experience but not essential.
