Hartwell Design-a-Sleigh Competition
In November 2017 we approached all of the Primary schools around the UK to take part in our Design-a-Sleigh Christmas competition. We asked the children to think about the Eco friendly aspects whilst designing, but to also think of how to make the job easier for Santa to deliver his presents and what other special powers the sleigh could have. In total we received over 4k entries, we had great fun at the office looking at each and every design and the students had some really great ideas and made the job of deciding the final very difficult. We finally narrowed it down to one final winner who was Grace Townsley from Rush Common School, Abingdon.
She did an amazing job an displayed a great amount of ideas in her design and was very detailed.
Today, Kevin Rea from our Hartwell Abingdon Dealership and Stacey Rudd from marketing went to the school during their celebration assembly to announce Grace as the winner and give the school their prizes, which was an ipad and Chrome notebooks for the school. We also presented them with Graces design in a frame for her bedroom wall, and one for the school.
We would like to say a big thank you from Hartwell Plc to every school that took part.
Please keep your eyes peeled for any future competitions!
